Description :
AIP31066 is dot matrix LCD driver & controller LSI whichis fabricated by low powers CMOS technology. It can display 1 or 2 lines with the 5x8 dots format or 1 line with 5x11 dots format.
Features
1. Character type dot matrix LCD driver/controller
2. Internal drive: 16COM and 40SEG signal output
3. It can be easily connected with 4-bit or 8-bit MPU
4. Display character patterns: 5×8 dot matrix (208 types), 5×11 dot matrix (32 types)
5. Special character patterns can be directly programmed to the character generator RAM
6. The general character pattern can be obtained by programming the character generator ROM through the mask
7. With AIP31065 or AIP31063, it can drive up to 80 characters
8. Multiple command functions
9. Automatic power-on reset function
