The SM0038 is an alternative to popular TSOP1738 IR receiver. Its a miniature receiver for Infrared remote control systems. PIN diode and pre-amplifier are assembled on lead frame, the epoxy package is designed as IR filter. The demodulated IR signal can be processed directly by microprocessor.
